Yoyomedia was an Internet info-mediary that helped advertisers maximize their return on marketing investment, while rewarding members with discounts and points on products and services of their self-selected interest. Its services were focused on the Ibero and Latin American region, started with Mexico, Spain and Brazil. Yoyomedia provided online direct marketing and loyalty programs by integrating targeted e-mail and Web-based direct marketing offers with online loyalty programs to create value added for both, clients and members. This approach gave consumers the opportunity to earn rewards for receiving and responding to offers, and provided businesses with comprehensive customer acquisition and retention tools. The revenue model was based on delivering online direct marketing offers to its membership base. Advertiser were charged a fee based on offers delivered, qualified leads generated or online transactions executed. Yoyomedia created active relationships with a wide group of advertisers, loyalty partners and rewards providers. A key competitive advantage was its technology. It allowed Yoyomedia to learn from consumers as a one-to-one relationship were built; therefore, sending more targeted offers and commanding higher prices. Furthermore, it was able to offer a variety of data-driven marketing services under an ASP model, such as the outsourcing of loyalty programs, intelligent ad serving, consumer behavior analysis, etc.
