Yuth-Radio

According to the decision of the Student Association of the Department of Planning and Regional Development of the University of Thessaly in February 2013, a team is created under the name "yUTH-Radio", which deals with the design, development, management, operation and maintenance Student Internet Radio of the University of Thessaly yUTH-Radio (yuth-radio.com) as well as parallel Internet and non-activities aimed at students, members of the University Community and every other institution aferomeno to inform, entertainment, and general communication. The yUTH-Radio Group was a student initiative of the University of Thessaly Department of Planning, Urban Planning and Regional Development, Gavalas Minas, Dimopoulou Eleni, Kafaridis Georgios, Koukoura Sofia, Rocas Theocharis, Senteles Athanasios, Tsitsiplamis Athanasios, Tsortanidou Chrysanthi, Tsouka Nikolina and Chorafas Polybius. The aim was to take a step forward in expressing students on the internet and promoting their interests, in the light of their love of music and radio. Initially, it was an advantage for Planning students, although while gaining resonance in 2015 it was opened to all students in Volos, while the period 2017-2018 was a focal point. Approaching its 5 years of operation in Volos, it turns a dynamic page in its path. By refreshing its page, it now gives the opportunity to students of the departments in the other cities of the University of Thessalia to make programs. At the same time, it allows students to express their views and express themselves through the Department of Artography. The long-term goal is to broadcast to FM all over Thessaly. Finally, it participates in the National University Network of Student Radios.
