Welcome to Zaara Biotech! We are an innovative biotechnology company that is revolutionizing multiple industries through our expertise in algal-seaweed technologies. As a student startup nurtured under IEDC and Kerala Startup Mission, we embarked on our journey from the dorms of Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technologies in 2019, focusing on the development of cutting-edge algal-seaweed technologies. In 2020, we secured A round funding from TCL International, enabling us to expand our focus to FMCG products using algae-seaweed technology in the UAE. Building on this success, we further accelerated our growth in 2022 with B round funding from the USA. And now, in 2023, we proudly announce our C round funding, led by an angel investment team headed by Nelson Seban, to establish our first subsidiary company,"Zaara Biotech Poultry and Meat productions." Our new subsidiary is set to transform the poultry and meat industry by implementing scientifically advanced methodologies and our unique feed design, incorporating the powerful combination of algae and seaweed. The result? High protein, low cholesterol meat, and omega-3 rich eggs that introduce a new category of products to both the Indian and international markets. Our pilot plant is scheduled to launch in April 2023, with products hitting the market shortly after. 🥚 At Zaara Biotech, we take pride in our diverse product development team, which excels in various sectors such as FMCG, Cosmetics, Agri Technology, Bioinformatics, and Bioreactor design technology. We have already introduced a range of innovative products across these industries, solidifying our position as a forerunner in algal-seaweed technologies.
