Zanzibar Chamber

Zanzibar National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) is an umbrella private sector organization in Zanzibar, whose main mandate is to foster business growth and promote investment in Zanzibar. It does so by lobbying and advocating for its wide membership and the entire Zanzibar business community at national and international platforms. ZNCC seeks to promote business growth in Zanzibar by articulating well developed proposals for removing constraints facing business community; promoting unity of stakeholders within the Private Sector; enabling Zanzibar enterprises to access skills, linkages with domestic and foreign markets, partnerships, investment opportunities and financial resources; and collaborating closely with the Government to make Zanzibar more attractive to investors. ZNCC is a key government partner when it comes to legal and policy reforms, enhancing business environment and promoting social welfare.
