Who we are We are Zaporuka, a well-known Ukrainian charitable foundation founded in 2008. We operate according to international standards of transparency, ethical fund use, and accountability. Our key activity areas Strengthening children’s medicine in Ukraine Home for children and their families during treatment Psychological support for children and their families Assisting children and their families in crisis situations Zaporuka supports the largest children’s hospitals in Ukraine: Okhmatdyt, the National Cancer Institute, Unbroken Kids, the Clinical Center for Children’s Medicine in Lviv, and the Regional Medical Center for Family Health in Dnipro. Projects we are proud of Psychological support and physical therapy service at the Children’s Department of the National Cancer Institute (since 2008) Family House Dacha — the first and only home in Ukraine for families of children with cancer, providing free accommodation and other social services during treatment (2009) Contribution to opening the Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic in Lviv (2022) Medical evacuation of 100 children and their families to Europe to ensure tcontinuation of treatment abroad (February–March 2022) Housing with studio flats for 30 families with children from frontline areas (2022) Prosthetics Workshop at the UNBROKEN Rehabilitation Center (2023) What we need and are looking for partnerships and relationships with donors to help as many children as possible who are critically ill or were injured due to the war in Ukraine volunteers and ambassadors to spread our mission, raise resources, and increase awareness for children affected by illness and war We publish quarterly, annual, and audited reports on our website. We have years of experience partnering with international donors, including UN Women, BlueCheck, Global Giving, Soleterre, and many more.
