Zarasoa Madagascar

Co-founded in 2023 by Vonjy Solofondrasana and a team of local masons, ZARASOA Madagascar is committed to empowering local changemakers by providing the tools and support needed to carry out projects. Rather than fostering dependency on external aid ZARASOA focuses on capacity training and the knowledge transfer of solutions that communities can independently make their own and implement to improve collective well-being, such as constructing water tanks for local water security. To date, ZARASOA has constructed 9 rainwater harvesting systems at public schools and hospitals across the Fianarantsoa region of Madagascar. Our water systems are sustained by our team of local ZARASOA masons, and we fix what we build!
