Our story, foundations and path in the retail space is one of mindfulness and kindness – making the journey of ZAY truly unique. Our bags travel a mindful journey, always. From meeting with families of weavers and ensuring they're paid fairly and honestly, to choosing materials that are strong and durable, we give customers an item that can be used knowing it came from a truly ethical beginning. ZAY is kind to the earth; hand-picked by founder, Nicola, the tape used is accessible and familiar to the weavers, and made from up-cycled plastic or rattan whenever possible. Colour pops from the streets of Myanmar and the weavers homes, into the intricate designs of each bag.
