Zee Tech Foundation

Zee tech foundation is a youth-focused NGO that aims at promoting digital literacy across urban and deprived/underserved rural communities. Since our inception in May 2020, we’ve been supporting rural communities to harness ICT for learning and development. ICT is the key to human development in many ways; ICT has helped transformed learning and learning outcomes in ways unpreceded. ICT has also helped created a formidable and inclusive global economy while making it meaningful to our social enterprise as humans. Here at ZEE TECH FOUNDATION, we are passionate about what we do, in our struggle to support creating digital skills literacy, and development opportunities for underserved communities across Nigeria. In keeping with our mission, our work is focused on three areas: STEM Education, Mentorship, and Entrepreneurship/Innovation. Cutting across these three areas is our Research and Policy Advocacy Community Program. WHAT WE DO — We Educate Facilitating the use of ICT for community development through collaborative partnerships between relevant stakeholders, such as schools, governments, and communities. — We Train We empower young people with digital skills to transition into the 21st century, while our Mentorship Program provides young individuals with various opportunities to develop professionally. — We Empower Empowering young people with 21st-century digital skills is a core of our organization’s objectives, which not only fully aligns with one of the NDEPS’ pillars, but with a global mandate as encapsulated in the SDGs 8 & 9. Objectives As a startup initiative, we aim to achieve our mission through; Mentorship We have designed a mentorship program to connect (mentees) with our community 2 volunteers (mentors) who will offer support and encourage their mentees to develop skills, and improve their performance, toward achieving career goals within the Tech sector.
