Don Zeiger founded Zeiger Industries in 1990 with a clear purpose: to overcome the problems he knew were being created by poorly performing equipment. He went to work with his three decades of plasticizing experience that included dealing with the frustrations of poorly designed products made from inferior materials. He achieved his early objective with the development of his Mallard® four-piece screw tip assembly. It remains the gold standard for screw tip performance around the world and has been the springboard for all manner of high-performance equipment used by the injection molding industries. Today, Don and his family and the talented engineers and technicians on the Zeiger Industries team continue to set the bar high for plasticizing technologies for the world’s most demanding applications. Still located in Canton, Ohio, Zeiger Industries is proud to make all of its parts in the United States from materials sourced in the U.S. as well.
