Zenman Improvisations

Zenman Improvisaions v.2 is the follow-up project of ZenMan Improvisations from the year 2005. Twelve artitsts handed in improvisational concepts. These concepts included paintings and stories as well as MaxMSP patches and actual compositions. In September 2005 two concerts in Germany (Berlin and Brandenburg) premiered these pieces. Five pieces have been performed severeal times internationally since then. Zenman Improvisaions v.2 starts in December 2009 with a project at MEME@Brown. From there the project will move around the US and Canada to come to a conclusion in Germany. Any improvisational concepts are welcome. A concept can be a poem, a painting, a description.
