ZACH is a Not-for-Profit Faith Based Organization (FBO), founded in 1973 and is registered under the Revised Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) Act of 2001. It is the medical arm of churches in Zimbabwe under the Zimbabwe Heads of Christian Denominations (ZHOCDs). ZACH provides 68% healthcare delivery in rural and hard to reach areas. ZACH represents the link between the ZHOCDs, the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC) and other Health providers and other agencies. ZACH has a membership of 135 Mission Hospitals and Clinics in rural areas and some in urban settings. It has presence in all the 63 districts and 10 provinces in Zimbabwe.
