Zingone

Zingone is a privately-owned company founded in 1896 by Gennaro Zingone. It is the first Haute Couture brand for the Italian Childern’s fashion. Thanks to its entrepreneurial spirit, the founder Gennaro Zingone was able to start a business quite remarkable in that period. Not only active on the Italian market, Zingone dedicated the research in selecting foreign wholesalers and soon became a rendezvous point for clients with an exigent need for quality and reliable products. In the 60’s and 70’s, the firm expanded and consolidated: Zingone S.p.A. opened other shops in residential areas of Rome and also expanded on an international scale setting up joint ventures and commercial connections with Japan and the US. In 1964 the department store Altman on the fifth avenue in New York, dedicated all it’s shop windows to Zingone and the owner is invited to all the presentations and fashion shows in the most qualified commercial structures in North-East. Corrado Zingone became the promoter of the first Children’s Clothing Exhibition in the European Market. As of today, the business has genuinely expanded in Rome, USA, Dubai and is still managed by the Zingone family, representing the élite brand for clients with an exigent need for quality and reliable products.
