Zonoff’s end-to-end, white-label solution included the world-class Z1 Software Suite, an exceptional user interface framework, proven hardware reference designs, robust data analytics, a comprehensive device ecosystem and subscription-based services. Zonoff’s technology and services platform were successfully adopted by leading brands in multiple vertical markets including retail, telecommunications, and new home construction. In December of 2014, Zonoff secured funding from home security company ADT that valued the company at $130 million USD. In March of 2017, founder and CEO Mike Harris struck a deal to move all employees and technology to Ring, the video doorbell company. In 2018, Ring was acquired by Amazon for over $1 billion USD, and the original Zonoff technology and human capital now power Amazon's Home Automation solutions.
