Zou-Mat Limited

ZOU-MAT is a design and fabrication workshop based in Hong Kong. The team is trained as architects and self-taught as fabricator. Our work spans across many scales, from cultural objects to furniture and interior. Together with clients and collaborators, we explore design through active making. We nurture ideas in multi-disciplinary dialogue and facilitate conceptual possibilities with digital fabrication techniques. Through research and prototyping, our primary focus and work ethic advocate a pursuit in bespoke detailing and craftsmanship. We believe optimal design is achieved only through a pragmatic and hands-on approach in understanding materials and fabrication processes.
