Zubalight Energy

Zubalight Energy is a registered engineering organization dedicated to developing utility-scale solar projects to solve Zambia's critical energy crisis and power its economic future. The Opportunity: Zambia is facing a severe, officially declared National Disaster and Emergency due to a power deficit that exceeds 700 MW. This has led to daily 15-hour+ load shedding, crippling the nation's economy and creating an urgent, government-backed opportunity for private investment in renewable energy. The Zambian Cabinet has responded with a landmark "Open Access" policy for the grid, creating a stable and highly attractive environment for Independent Power Producers (IPPs). Our Solution: We specialize in developing de-risked, shovel-ready solar projects in strategic, grid-connected locations. Our approach focuses on completing all critical preliminary work, from securing land to verifying grid capacity, to create tangible, fundable projects that can be executed efficiently and professionally. Our Unfair Advantage: Our greatest asset is our leadership, a "brain trust" of Zambia's most seasoned energy and infrastructure professionals with over 100 years of combined, on-the-ground experience. The team includes former Directors of the national utility (ZESCO) and Project Managers from the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), providing unparalleled local expertise and significantly mitigating execution risk. Get in Touch: We are seeking financial and EPC partners to join us in our mission. Connect with us to learn more about how we are building a brighter, energy-secure future for Zambia.
