Founded in 2015, Zuoyebang is the largest K12 online education platform in China. With the mission of "making quality education accessible to all," the company is a technology-driven online education services provider that addresses the unmet needs in China's education market by increasing the coverage and penetration of quality education across the country. By October 2020, Zuoyebang had over 800 million registered user devices in total, with over 50 million daily active users and over 170 million monthly active users. Its flagship products include some of the most popular apps in the education category such as Zuoyebang, Zuoyebang Live Courses, and Zuoyebang Oral Arithmetic Calculation. Built on a database of 300 million questions, Zuoyebang’s product portfolio offers a comprehensive suite of online tutoring tools and services for primary and secondary school students covering all academic subjects. In June 2020, Zuoyebang completed its Series E funding round. Key investors included Fountainvest Partners, Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital China, SoftBank’s Vision Fund, Primavera Capital, GGV Capital, Xiang He Capital, Tiantu Capital, and Taihecap, among other leading international and domestic institutions.
