Falstrom Company
In 1870, a young Swedish craftsman named Gustav Falstrom established a metalworking shop in Passaic, New Jersey. Building upon proven techniques learned as an apprentice in Sweden, Falstrom became a major New Jersey supplier of fabricated metal products including such items as skylights, metal roofing, cornices, leaders, and gutters. By the 1890s, Falstrom’s skill and knowledge of industrial safety prompted requests for technical assistance from the New Jersey Department of Labor and from insurance companies. His special expertise aided in the establishment of initial standards for the construction of fireproof metal doors and windows. With his advice, specifications were set for machine safeguards, as well as for exhaust, ventilation, and dust control systems. Falstrom also took a leadership role in instituting industrial housekeeping, employee training, and technical research. The early 20th century saw Falstrom Company pioneering products in the packaging field. It was one of the first metal fabricators in New Jersey to install an electric arc welder, an electric spot welder, and a large power brake for bending and forming sheet metal. Today, Falstrom Company is an industry leader primarily serving US defense needs with custom, battle-proven, rugged enclosures and electronic assemblies to mission-critical shipboard systems and platforms. Falstrom is ready for the challenge.

Military Community Youth Ministries Club Beyond
The journey from adolescence to adulthood has never been easy. In every generation and in every place, teenagers have struggled to come to grips with their place in the world. They want to know if there is meaning to life in general and if their own lives are important. Among our nation's youth are some teenagers whose parents and guardians have committed their lives to service with our armed forces. These students are scattered among overseas bases and installations in the United States. At Club Beyond (as it is known to the teens), we believe that there is a great need to be available for these young people, to build meaningful, no-strings-attached relationships with them. We believe that one of the best ways to help military teens is to affirm them and be available to celebrate life with them. Club Beyond staff and volunteers seek to love teens unconditionally and provide a model of Christian hope in our military communities through weekly club and fun activities. Questions? We invite you to learn more about us by contacting us at our home office in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
