17 Fss Goodfellow Afb
We are the 17th Force Support Squadron. The squadron is a non-appropriated fund government instrumentality for the United States Air Force. Together, we provide Mission Support to our nations Air Force, Army, Navy and Marines stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base. Part of our mission is to provide the best quality of life programs and events as part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) initiative. The Morale, Welfare and Recreation initivate began over a century ago. The purpose of MWR is to provide programs and activities that would support the overall morale and welfare of our troops. To keep them combat ready and resilient. MWR provides leisure activites, promotes the mental and physical well-being of our troops and overall, supports and provides a good quality of life while in service to our country. Here at Goodfellow, the duty of the 17th Force Support Squadron, otherwise known as 17 FSS, is to put on those MWR programs for our military and their families stationed at our small, but community-driven base. We look to the community to partner with us in supporting these initiatives through sponsorship and advertising. Without the support of San Angelo, the troops stationed at Goodfellow would not have access to these morale boosting programs. When you partner with Goodfellow, you are supporting the military and providing life changing programs to our military members and their families.

Lift Airborne Technologies
In the age of hypersonics and AI, the technology that pilots and aircrew are asked to operate isn’t like the same warfare equipment from WWI and WWII, when the focus on manual operation of levers and dials was all you needed to do to make a positive impact on the operation of your aircraft, and the survivability of man and machine during dog fights and mission execution. At LIFT Airborne Technologies we strive to equip the warfighter with a truly state-of-the-art, next generation type of cockpit technology that adds everything and doesn’t subtract anything from the mission at hand, and the chance of victory. Our aircrew helmet systems are developed by and for warfighters with decades of combat experience, tactical and strategic insights in all sorts of airframes and platforms, and the commitment to only provide the very best. It’s our honor to make the world’s best aircrews even more competitive, more effective, and provide an edge where that edge makes a difference.
