Eye On Global Health

Since its inception in August 2013, the blog has had an overwhelmingly positive response from students, KU staff and the wider global health community. The current team aims to cover a wide range of relevant and current topics based on students’ experiences and interests. Drawing on an intersectional feminist perspective, we aim to shed light on complex issues and explore topics that go beyond what can be found in our core curriculum. Anyone is welcome to write for us (not just students), and we welcome opportunities for collaboration.

KLF, Kirke & Medier er Danmarks største mediebrugerorganisation. Foreningen er fælleskirkelig og arbejder på at give kirke, tro og kristendom en naturlig plads i danske, elektroniske medier. Aasr - Aarhus Studenterradio

Aarhus Studenterradio gik i luften for første gang 1. februar 1996 og har siden sendtnærværende, legesyg og udfordrende radio til Aarhus’ studerende og byens ungdommelige indbyggersegment. Fra første dag har målet været at udfordre radiokonventionerne, hvilket i høj grad er stationens eksistensgrundlag i en mediejungle, hvor det ikke skorter på underholdningstilbud. Radioens frivillige stab kommer fra studiemiljøet i og omkring Aarhus. Vi er bredt repræsenteret med passionerede medarbejdere fra både humanistiske og naturvidenskabelig studier, samt journalisthøjskolen, lærerseminariet, handelshøjskolen og diverse håndværkeruddannelser. Vi dækker det lokale kulturliv intensivt og undersøger gerne de afkroge af byen, som de store medier overser. Sendefladen byder på et bredt udsnit af programmer, alt fra heavy metal til debatterende kulturradio, der på hver sin måde tager pulsen på livet i Aarhus og Danmark. Radioen har mulighed for at promovere den musik, som de landsdækkende radioer ikke tør sende ud på FM-båndet. En alsidig og kompromisløs musikprofil giver usignede og upcoming bands, især lokale, mulighed for at eksponere deres musik. Aarhus Studenterradio vil gerne være en samlende kraft i det store brogede uddannelsesmiljø i Aarhus. Studenterradioen i Aarhus står bag en gedigen om græsrodsradio og står som garant for, at en udfordrende tilgang til radiomediet ikke betyder, at man behøver at gå på kompromis med kvalitet.

During the last 25 years, Pierre Soelberg has been involved in developing the private radio industry in Denmark, starting from small community stations in the 80's to national network in 2003, mostly as technical manager or consultant at various stations. Due to special legislation conditions, Denmark was one of the first countries to switch to computer automated broadcasting in the 90's, where Dalet was the system chosen by most stations. KANAL 1 er en ikke-kommerciel lokal-tv station, en almennyttig forening i hovedstadsregionen, der – udover at producere tv i Region Hovedstaden – også forsøger at give kommunikationssvage grupper i plads i et massemedium, tv-mediet. Ved produktionen af programmerne forsøger vi at inddrage personer, der ikke nødvendigvis deltager direkte i det journalistiske arbejde, men har en mening om stationens programudbud. Kompetence i forhold til både det tekniske og det indholdsmæssige stilles til rådighed for personer, der ønsker at tilrettelægge et tv-program om et lokalt eller nærværende og personligt emne. Det gælder f.eks. ældre, der i en redaktionsgruppe laver tv om og for andre ældre eller mennesker, der kommer i berøring med det psykiatriske system og ønsker at formidle viden og holdninger i denne forbindelse. KANAL 1 skal fremme almennyttige sociale, politiske og kulturelle aktiviteter i lokalområdet. KANAL 1 skal i sit virke være trivselsfremmende og afspejle lokalområdets aktiviteter, og være en udvidelse af mulighederne for kommunikation borgerne imellem.
