We are Notified Body (NB 1396) and Authorised Body (SK01) to provide certification and testing services of building construction products, with an emphasis on fire safety. We are also Authorised Body (TP01) for technical assessment and Notified Technical Assessment Body (TAB), EOTA member, approved to issue national and European Technical Assessments (ETA) for particular building construction products (especially fire stopping, fire sealing, fire protective and fire retardant products). We are and accredited Laboratory (to ISO/IEC 17025) for testing of fire resistance, reaction to fire, physical and mechanical characteristics of different construction products. As an accredited Product Certification Body (to ISO/IEC 17065) we carry out certifications of different construction products to Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (CPR) or Slovak Act No. 133/2013 Coll. We also provide inspections of factory production control (FPC) systems. As a testing and certification institute, we are authorized by UAE Civil Defense as well as by Qatar Civil Defense. Voluntarily or legally we are a member of the following associations- EGOLF (European Group of Fire Testing Laboratories)- FSG (also known as GNB SH02) Group of Notified Bodies – horizontal group for fire issues - CEN/TC127 Technical Committee focused on preparing EN standards concerning fire safety of buildings (including a membership in its working groups such as WG1, WG2, WG3 etc.)- ÚNMS SR TK17 Fire safety of buildings (Technical Committee for Slovak standards, founded by ÚNMS SR, i.e. Slovak Institute for Standardisation, Metrology and Testing)- ÚNMS SR TK119 Testing of fire performance of construction products (Technical Committee for Slovak standards, founded by ÚNMS SR)- ÚNMS TK 96 Doors, windows, shutters, building hardware and curtain walling (Technical Commitee for Slovak standards, founded by ÚNMS SR) See also the page of our civic organization @Grow by FIRES
