Teekoo Games Ltd
The roots of this game studio go way back, at least to the 90's, when top-down shooters started to gain popularity. One of the publications in that genre was the finnish indie game series "Tapan Kaikki" aka TK. At the time this game immediately made its way to the markable finnish computer / games magazine, which rapidly increased its popularity among finnish players. TK gained its status as a classic finnish indie game very quickly, thanks to the active community, which produced huge amount of new levels and others content and kept the machine running. The current team started forming as if destiny or somekind of karma had something to do with it. One of the original TK developers and one of its biggest fans met at a finnish skiing resort and soon, among other activities, started talking about making a new game together. The idea was to use modern technology but also to deliver that good old retro feel that once made TK so popular, for instance. In the year of 2015 this newborn team started training the art of game making in this millenium and already in the next year a project called "Albert Mort" saw daylight. The project went on to the year 2017, when the first alpha release was delivered to a small group of testers. By using the valuable feedback from the testers and with some new ideas, the project finally got to the point where we can announce that, not only a new awesome action game, but most importantly a new finnish indie game studio has been born.

TJR Games Oy (a.k.a. Team Jolly Roger) is a Finnish game development company, based in Kajaani. The beating heart of our company is of course the team, a group of nerdy people with a passion for creating games. Our specialty is creating multiplatform (sometimes cross platform) games with Unity and HTML5. We work with both our own IPs and outsourcing for various platforms. Our crown jewel is Interplanetary, an award winning turn-based strategy game with the theme of interplanetary artillery. Interplanetary is currently available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux.
