Now 27 years on the go Celuplast Ltd was founded by our MD Joe Kearney in 1988. Seems a lifetime ago now when Joe took his first tentative steps into the embryonic Upvc industry. Little was known then about Upvc let alone the terms Fascia & Soffit. The 80’s found Ireland still very much in recession so getting a company off the ground was extremely difficult. Surrounding himself with good people was a priority for Joe. Some of those very same people recruited during the company’s infancy are still here today, a testament to the strong bond between owners, management and staff that exists within what is now a group of companies. Despite the economic trials of 2 devastating recessions Celuplast has managed to grow its business and customer base and now boasts a staff of 30 in Dublin and 7 in our company in the UK. Over the years we has expanded our product range exponentially with household names such as Rubberlok, Guardian Warm Roof and Cascade Rainwater Systems just some of the offerings we have brought to market. Our trade counter in Baldoyle in Dublin is now the busiest Upvc trade counter in the country with our logistic arm delivering our products throughout the 32 counties on a weekly basis. Our activity in the UK has grown remarkably over the past 2 years subsequent to our purchasing of Consortias Ltd in 2013. The introduction of our Guardian Warm Roof to the UK has proven a great success and it’s onwards and upwards on that front. We are still a family company with family values and seek to carry this ethic forward long into the future.
