Formålet med EFFORT er at øge energieffektiviteten på Hirtshals Havn gennem datadrevne analyser af den nuværende energiproduktion og -forbrug. Projektet vil skabe grundlag for udarbejdelsen af retningslinjer og styringsmetoder for den fremtidige udbygning af havnen, hvor energifleksibilitet, sektorkobling og digitalisering er nøgleord. Visionen er at industrier og havne kan bruge projektets guidelines og roadmaps til at etablere mere bæredygtige energiløsninger i fremtiden. Projektets partnere- Aalborg Universitet, AAU Energi - Greenport North P/S - Hirtshals Havn - Teknologisk Institut - CenterDanmark Fonden - Nord Energi Net A/S - Centrica Energy Trading A/S - PlanEnergi - EMD International A/S Bevilling: Projektet støttes af ELFORSK, som er en offentligt finansieret pulje på 25 mio, der administreres af Green Power Danmark.
