Flokk & Fjell

In collaboration with both architects and interior designers, we create stylish and unique installations that perfectly en- hance the sonic and visual qualities of a space. The wool used to create our panels is collected from time-honored breeds of Nordic sheep including the Old Norwegian Short Tale Landrace (gammalnorsk spælsau) and the Norwegian Pelt Sheep (pelssau). We combine our wools with a variety of raw silks which help to accentuate the beauty of our various woolen textures. Any additional coloring in our panels comes from 100% organic dyes, extracted from Norwegian flora including mosses, mushrooms, and other varieties of plants found in the wild. Lastly, we take great pride in the fact that our wool is acquired locally and directly from farmers engaged in ethical and humane animal practices. Our textiles improve the sonic qualities of your space while simultaneously providing unique visual enhancements. Norsk design og produksjon av eksklusive rekkverk, levegger, gjerder og porter. Forefenceproduktene er basert på et unikt modulsystem designet for bruk i uterommet. Forefence står for innovativ design og miljøbevisste materialvalg. Systemet er fleksibelt og byr på et utall kombinasjonsmuligheter. SINTEF I følge SINTEF sine rettningslinjer for mekanisk prøving av glassrekkverk har rekkverkstolpene fra Forefence AS bestått prøving med hensyn til stivhet og bruddstyrke i brukskategori A,B,C1,C2,C4 & D som beskrevet i NS 3510.2015. Prøvene ble bestått med stor margin. SINTEF rapporten er tilgjengelig under prosjektnummer 102015360.

Hoisk Design

Scandinavian design concept. HOISK has for some time been working on a universal design concept. Our aim is to improve conditions for newborns and mums in refugee camps and areas of environmental and humanitarian crises. We have been co-operating with designer Johan Verde and four students of design in the early phase of the project. DOGA (Design and Architecture Norway) has sponsored part of the development and insight. Innovasjon Norge contributed to the project in the early phase. In 2024 we started the second phase of the project. Rasmus Udland Luberth from Luberth Design is our inhouse product designer working on the Safespot details. At HOISK we aim for a circular business model, superior quality products and Nordic cool. VUGG is our latest creation. Together with designer Johan Verde, we have created a portable crib for babies in Wood and Wool.
