For larger pieces we can cut your artwork by CNC or Robotic Arm in styrene or polyurethane. 3D Echo Tech offers a wide range of 3D design and CNC cutting services including: 3D scanning 3D design 3D cutting via CNC and seven-axis robot 3D printing Prototyping Reverse engineering These core services allow 3D Echo Tech to provide the following additional composite services to our clients: Rapid Prototyping Rapid prototyping is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. Construction of the part or assembly is usually done using 3D printing or “additive layer manufacturing” technology. See the Rapid Prototyping service page on our website for more information. Project Scaling If you have an object that needs to be scaled smaller or larger we can scan it and scale it proportionately to the required size. The nine meter tall Mandela sculpture now standing in front of the Union buildings and looking over Pretoria was 3D scanned, scaled from two meters to nine meters, cut by CNC in polyurethane foam, and then assembled with an internal steel armature. The project was then handed over to our sister company, Sculpture Casting Services to be re-skinned, molded in parts, cast in bronze in parts, reassembled with an engineered stainless steel internal armature, patinated and installed by the Sculpture Casting Services team, all within 4 months.
