Vi bringer verden inn i klasserommet! Elevkanalen er en digital læremiddelplattform for barnehage, grunnskole, videregående og voksenopplæring. Ideen om å trekke verden inn i klasserommet gjennom nyheter har slått an helt siden starten i 2009. Elevene opplever at det de lærer på skolen henger sammen med det som skjer utenfor skolen – lokalt, nasjonalt og internasjonalt. Oppdatert og relevant Elevkanalen tilbyr i dag 14 nyhetstjenester som er knyttet sammen med fag, temaer og serier. Fagportalene består av fullstendige læreverk og komplementerende ressurser fra flere innholdsleverandører. Elevkanalen har en Temaportal som tar LK20 på alvor, «verden er ikke oppdelt i fag». I tillegg har vi et rikt tilbud med serier, dokumentarer og filmer fra flere mediehus i inn og utland. Alt innhold er søkbart og merket opp mot læreplanens fag, kjerneelementer, tverrfaglige emner og kompetansemål. Tilgjengelighet og universell utforming Elevkanalen har jobbet med universell utforming og individuell tilpasning gjennom flere år. Læremiddelplattformen dekker i dag svært mange WCAG krav, også flere enn de obligatoriske kravene. Utenom generell universell utforming har Elevkanalen også en rekke spesialtilbud for brukere med særskilte behov, og flere prosjekter er gjennomført med støtte fra Utdanningsdirektoratet. Mange av våre videoer har blitt tegnspråktolket i samarbeid med Statped. Vi har støtte for ASK, bryterstyring/øyestyring, samt synstolkning utviklet i samarbeid med Blindeforbundet.

Hubro Simulations is a spin-off company from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, and was established in 2013. We deliver modern learning tools, that provide students with a practical understanding of their course through hands-on experiences. Our products are used as a supplement to the lectures, and can act as the practical part of the course.
