D.One Art Studio

For the past 10 years, I have designed different art classes for all ages and backgrounds both inside a formal studio setting and in a more relaxed and informal outside environment. I have taught art (Oil, Acrylic, mixed medium) and art history and humanities in a public high school for five years. As well, I have given seminars and created workshops at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver Community College, Emily Carr Institute and D.One Art Studio. My goal is to help students to gain and improve skills and confidence in working with diverse and demanding media. I encourage small class sizes, so that I can personalize lessons according to the needs and desires of the group. Individuals are encouraged to work at their own pace and level of ability. I offer extensive individual assistance, support and encouragement with the hopes that students may come to share my excitement and passion for art. Classes can focus on the foundations such as “Drawing" or "Painting with Acrylic and/or oil", but I'm very flexible and able to individualize classes to the needs and wants of the students.
