Beyond Tutoring
At Beyond Tutoring, we adopt a holistic approach to tuition, focusing on more than just our student’s marks. Students are complex individuals who need not just someone to help improve their education, but also someone to guide and mentor them through this complex world that we live in. That’s what we focus on – developing a personal connection with our students so that we are able to cater to their needs, build their strengths, and develop their weaknesses. We aim to produce well-rounded individuals who can set their sights high and achieve their dreams. Because we believe that a good education can transform lives, empower families, and build communities. A short conversation with most school students will generally present the same image – a child with plenty of potentials, but a lack of long-term vision and guidance. This pattern seems to be presenting itself more and more, as classes at school get even bigger and students fail to find the mentorship that they desperately need. This trend is even more shocking in disadvantaged areas like Western Sydney, where students require inspiration from role models who have walked the same path and can relate to the struggle that our children are facing. That’s why we go beyond tutoring. To achieve their potential, students need more than just someone to teach them maths or biology – they need someone who can relate to them, whom they can connect with, and who can provide them with the motivation to set their goals as high as their potential. Our tutors are young, fun, and relatable. We come from the same background and share the same experiences as our students, and we know what it takes to set your sights high and break barriers. We focus on developing a personal bond with our students, focusing on our similarities, and working to build a connection that will last long after they have graduated from our centre.
