SYM-school is een vangnet voor tieners die niet langer in het huidige systeem verder kunnen/willen. Gebaseerd op het ontwikkelend tienerbrein leren onze tieners in de echte wereld en maken ze zelf keuzes op vlak van leren, werken en het ontdekken van hun passie. SYM-school gaat aan de slag met het potentieel van elke jongere dat vaak nog niet ontwikkeld of ontdekt is. Ook alle medewerkers van SYM worden uitgedaagd en uitgenodigd om hun eigen potentieel aan te spreken, in te zetten en verder te ontwikkelen. SYM-school is geen school zoals andere scholen. We werken zonder schooljaren, jaarklassen, schoolgebouw of vast uurrooster. Leerlingen leren op eigen tempo, in een inspirerende context en vanuit hun eigen keuzes.

L’asbl Schola ULB s’est constituée en janvier 2006 et a repris dans ses missions la gestion et le développement du Programme Tutorat, initié en 1989 par l’ULB. En une vingtaine d’années, ce programme de soutien scolaire a permis à plus de 18 élèves d’être aidés par quelque 1800 étudiants-tuteurs. Parallèlement, Schola ULB organise le Forum des Innovations en Éducation. Ce grand rendez-vous du monde de l’éducation est consacré aux pratiques innovantes dans l’enseignement secondaire. Dans le cadre de différents partenariats éducatifs, Schola ULB participe également à l’organisation d’évènements culturels initiés par l’ULB et est régulièrement mise à contribution pour diverses publications.

Vlaamse Hogescholenraad
De Vlaamse Hogescholenraad behartigt de belangen van de hogescholen, hun medewerkers en studenten bij beleidsmakers, stimuleert de samenwerking tussen de hogescholen onderling en faciliteert de dialoog met andere beleidsbeïnvloeders en stakeholders. Beleidsvoorstellen en adviezen krijgen vorm in werkgroepen rond onderwijsbeleid, hogeschoolbeheer, onderzoek, kunstenbeleid en internationalisering. Eens uitgewerkt, worden die voorstellen voorgelegd aan de Raad van Bestuur. Die bestaat uit de algemeen directeurs van de Vlaamse hogescholen – van wie een de voorzitter is - en komt maandelijks samen om standpunten en beleidsvoorstellen te bespreken. De raad treedt op als spreekbuis van de hogescholen. De dagelijkse werking van de Vlaamse Hogescholenraad wordt verzekerd door een team van een 15-tal vaste medewerkers.

Ecole Internationale Le Verseau-Elce
Située à 25 km de Bruxelles, l'Ecole Internationale "Le Verseau"- ELCE propose un enseignement secondaire général, pluraliste à une population scolaire internationale. L'école appartient au réseau de l'enseignement libre subventionné non confessionnel (tous les cours philosophiques sont proposés) et les cours y sont donnés en français. Nous accueillons environ 450 élèves avec un maximum de 22 élèves par classe. L'anglais est enseigné dès la maternelle par des "native speakers". Les élèves suivent 4 heures d'anglais par semaine. Les élèves de langue anglaise sont préparés à l'examen de connaissance approfondie de l'anglais IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education). Les élèves francophones sont préparés à l'examen du British Council IELTS ( International English Language Testing System). L'école délivre un diplôme de fin d'études secondaires reconnu par la Communauté Française qui donne accès à toutes les universités belges et européennes. L'école met l'accent sur les activités créatives, musicales et sportives.
