Ucmas Canada
The first UCMAS centre opened its doors in 1993 in Malaysia based on the simple premise: Provide quality “Abacus and Mental Math Training” to children in the age group of 4-13 years and help them “Discover the Genius Within” Legions of students registered for this program and over the years UCMAS developed as an International concept offering this wonderful program, world wide, across: centers CENTRES country 75+ COUNTRIES UCMAS (Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System) – an ISO 9001:2008 certified course, is a unique child development program that was founded in Malaysia by Dr. Dino Wong. Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System – UCMAS started its operations in North America in the year 2004 and has currently about 70 locations across the network. With over students registered across these centers and approximately 600 Course Instructors trained, UCMAS is now a brand to reckon with. About the Concept The UCMAS program is based on the ancient, simple but powerful Abacus tool that provides countable beads for children to visualize numbers. Children learn to manipulate those beads to perform arithmetic calculation such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. UCMAS children are trained in rapid math calculation with the help of physical abacus. Later, they move on to mental calculations where they develop the ability to picture the abacus in their minds and calculate quickly. The crucial concept of visualization or thinking in pictures leverages the right brain and leads to dramatically higher levels of speed, efficiency and accuracy. The UCMAS program incorporates and enhances Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic/Tactile learning styles in each child. It fosters active learning and activates key cognitive functions such as: Concentration Memory memory Attention Problem Solving Perception Multitasking Focus Time Management Reasoning

Zylor Education
It all started when. We realized, it is really hard to get in to a good university. And we figured, why don't we start helping high school students get into their dream school? So we created a program where kids learn discipline, and the importance of sticking to a schedule. We teach them to balance their school related tasks with extra-curricular activities and socializing. The nurturing environment coupled with the latest technology ensures our students thrive, both in and out of school. We love helping our students navigate the roller coaster that is today's high school experience, and developing their passions for future study along the way.

Alive Montessori And Private School - Alive Montessori Toronto , Forest Hill
Come discover why the Alive Montessori & Private School is what you always hoped a school would be. With devoted teachers, proper Montessori methods, and one-on-one instruction, we consistently teach our students to read at age 4 (many at age 3). Gaining this ability so early does wonders for a child's confidence that spills over into other subjects and activities. Alive Montessori has a Montessori approach to Preschool/K Curriculum. Montessori programs aimed at preschool and Kindergarten - aged children allow young learners to choose which “tasks” or activities interest them. These tasks centre around special Montessori puzzles - the essential features of these puzzles being they contain a “right answer” and allow for self-correction. A strong emphasis is therefore placed on learning being concrete and rooted in practical experience, along with children developing a sense of self-sufficiency and confidence. Specially trained teachers act as guides, introducing children to progressively more difficult materials when appropriate. A Montessori classroom is typically very calm and orderly, with children working alone or, sometimes, in small groups.

Brick Works Academy
Brick Works Academy is a family-founded business established in 2012. This business was created from a personal need to provide my daughter and her friends with an opportunity to learn and explore Lego Mindstorm Robotics in depth. This original camp theme gave rise to the exploration of many STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) themes. The second camp addition was Junior Robotics. This camp aims to introduce younger students to the exciting robotics world and block-based coding. Brick Works Academy was one of the first camps to offer Minecraft gaming camps. It made perfect sense to bring Minecraft into the camps as its core is essentially an infinite world you create with blocks, just like LEGO. Stop Motion Animation with LEGO was then introduced the following summer and further developed into a computer animation camp that is still offered. Geek Culture is something Brick Works Academy wanted to embrace. This was done by adding Star Wars camps, Harry Potter camps and more tech creator camps such as: 3D Design and printing YouTube Videographer Digital Music Fortnite Level Design Dungeons & Dragons. The goal is to turn campers into content creators and not just content consumers. The skills they learn at camp can serve them well with school and work projects in the future. Besides, it is a whole lot of fun being surrounded by so many like-minded new friends, LEGO and computer tech!
