Bristol Grammar School
BGS is a thriving independent day school, taking children from Reception through to the Sixth Form. Over the past 10 years, the School has greatly strengthened its academic, pastoral and co-curricular provision, culminating in the highest ‘Excellent’ rating across all categories in the ISI Inspection report in October 2015. Student numbers have risen steadily as our reputation has grown across the city and the region: for the start of the 2017/18 academic year, the School is effectively full with waiting lists in some year-groups. The financial strength this brings has allowed the Board of Governors to invest in new infrastructure, the highlight being the opening of our 1532 Performing Arts Centre in September 2016, named in memory of our foundation year. We continue to be ambitious in thinking about how to expand and improve what we provide for our students. For example, implementation of our plan to introduce the International Baccalaureate into the Sixth Form is well advanced, and we are making good progress on significant additions to our sports facilities. Looking further forward, we are exploring ways in which BGS, its staff and its students can play a wider role in the community that is Bristol and its surrounds.

Cabot Learning Federation
The Cabot Learning Federation (CLF) is a diverse multi-academy trust spanning five cluster areas in the South West of England: Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset and Somerset. We currently sponsor 11 secondary academies, 17 primary academies, an all-through provision, a studio school, a post-16 provision and five specialist and alternative provisions. In total, we cater for almost young people aged from two to 19. The CLF journey began in September 2007 when John Cabot Academy and Bristol Brunel Academy were opened on the same day. In September 2009, we were joined by Bristol Metropolitan Academy (BMA) and the CLF was formed, jointly sponsored by Rolls Royce PLC and the University of the West of England. The core purpose of the CLF today, is much as it was then; a drive to create educational excellence and enhance the life prospects of young people through the embodiment of our trust’s HEART values. Our vision is simple: we believe that by working together rather than in isolation we can accelerate school improvement and embed excellence in our academies. In doing so we create more opportunities for lifelong success of our students as they become young adults. Strategic goals include investment in people and partnerships, and an ethos of decision-making through the lens of disadvantage. Together, these policy strands underpin our broader ambition of delivering Equity Through Education. Working within the Federation, you will benefit from excellent peer support from colleagues in similar roles and great opportunities for continuing professional development. You can expect positive challenge, a supportive environment to succeed within and, in the longer term, further career opportunities across the trust.

Europa School Uk
Providing Multicultural Multilingual European Education in rural Oxfordshire. We offer students a bilingual education from age four culminating in the European Baccalaureate at 18. We are a member of a network of Accredited European Schools which form part of the European Schools, the official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. The European Schools’ programme was devised in 1953 when the first school opened in Luxembourg. Currently there are 22 schools spread throughout the European Union that follow the programme. Our school is an accredited European School able to offer the European Baccalaureate and to have access to a wide European network of teaching and learning. In Primary, half the week is taught through English and half taught through French, German or Spanish. At home, the pupils might speak English or any of roughly twenty other languages present in our community, united by the school but spread throughout Oxfordshire. It is not unknown for a child in Reception to be using four languages between school and home – and it works, not least because our dedicated staff have the experience and application needed to make it work. In Secondary, History and Geography are studied in a second language, ensuring a deep academic and empathetic engagement with our multicultural approach. Our pupils are confident in their own roots and confident to broaden their horizons. The staff come from all over Europe and beyond, creating a distinctly multicultural atmosphere and making this an exciting and enriching place to work. More than a third of our staff are part-time and we make every effort to be flexible with timetables.
