BEST Zagreb is a voluntary non-profit student organization that provides the students of the University of Zagreb with a possibility of extra education in the chosen area of expertise, contacts with future employers, working in international teams, getting acknowledged with European cultures and developing an understanding for the cultural diversity whilst acquiring organizational skills. The beginnings of BEST Zagreb go as far back as 1998 when the students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture founded it. Thanks to further initiative, BEST Zagreb was registered as an organization in BEST Zagreb is active in most technical and technological faculties of the University of Zagreb and has become one of the most renounced local BEST groups in Europe. BEST Zagreb currently has around 100 members of which 50 are active members and 50 are alumnae – once BESTies today successful engineers. Constant contact with the alumnae gives us the privilege of knowledge transfer that is upgraded and successfully used. BEST Zagreb works in general groups (Fundraising, Public Relations, Human Resources, Information Technologies) and groups that deal with active projects. Kliper - Ustanova Za Obrazovanje Kadrova U Pomorstvu
Prva smo privatna škola koja je započela sa doškolovanjem i prekvalifikacijom polaznika zainteresiranih za obrazovanje u pomorskim zanimanjima u Republici Hrvatskoj, sukladno rješenju Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta za izvođenje programa obrazovanja odraslih od 20. Siječnja 2004. i rješenjem Ministarstva pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture od 27. Kolovoza 2009. KLIPER – ustanova za obrazovanje kadrova u pomorstvu, podnijela je zahtjev za odobrenje izvođenja programa obrazovanja odraslih, a nakon pozitivnog stručnog mišljenja Agencije za obrazovanje odraslih te dostave podataka o stručnom voditelju i nastavnicima koji bi izvodili programe, podatka o prostoru, opremi i nastavnim sredstvima, te dostave dokaza da je ovlaštena pravna osoba za izvođenje programa srednjoškolskog obrazovanja odraslih, pozitivno rješenje pristiglo je i iz Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta. U postupku koji je prethodio rješenju, a na temelju priložene dokumentacije i službenih podataka, utvrđeno je da Kliper – ustanova za obrazovanje kadrova u pomorstvu ispunjava uvjete utvrđene odredbama Pravilnika o standardima i normativima te načinu i postupku utvrđivanja ispunjenosti uvjeta u ustanovama za obrazovanje odraslih (NN 129/08, 52/10). Od školske godine 2011/2012 pružamo programe doškolovanja i prekvalifikacije za zanimanja : pomorski nautičar tehničar za brodostrojarstvo časnik elektrotehnike Osim ovih programa svim polaznicima omogućeno je polaganje svih ispita dopunske osposobljenosti sukladno STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) konvenciji u najmodernijem centru za izobrazbu pomoraca DIVERSO IMPEX.

Projekt „Stvaranje poticajnog poduzetničkog okruženja u SMŽ osnivanjem poduzetničkog inkubatora PISMO Novska“ ima za cilj razvoj nove poduzetničke infrastrukture na području grada Novske, odnosno SMŽ. Osnivanje poduzetničkog inkubatora imat će za cilj olakšati poduzetnicima da na lakši i ekasniji način vrše svoje poslovanje i otvore nova radna mjesta. Također će potaknuti osnivanje novih poduzeća/start-upova i njihovo uspješno poslovanje i doprinos jačanju poduzetništva u ovom području. Inkubator će biti fokusiran na sektore metalne industrije i industrije razvoja video igara. Osnivanje poduzetničke infrastrukture koja će u 26 funkcionalno-prostornih jedinica sadržavati svu potrebnu opremu poput CNC stroja, 3D printera, glazbenog i filmskog studija te uz sav potreban software omogućiti povećanje poduzetničke aktivnosti. Poduzetnički inkubator utjecat će na stvaranje kvalitetnog poduzetničkog okruženja stvarajući prostor, pružajući usluge i mogućnost korištenja opreme kako bi poduzetnicima bilo lakše i dostupnije raditi na razvoju svog poslovanja. Razvojem poslovanja i stvaranjem novih proizvoda i usluga stvorit će se uvjeti za otvaranje novih radnih mjesta, što u SMŽ, kao županiji s velikom stopom nezaposlenosti, predstavlja potrebu i nužnost.
