Tipperary Education and Training Board (ETB) is the statutory provider of education and training opportunities for people throughout county Tipperary. Tipperary ETB was established on 1 July 2013 under the Education and Training Boards Act 2013, as an amalgamation of North and South Tipperary VECs. Astronomy Ireland is the largest national astronomy club in the world relative to population and we publish a full-colour 48-page magazine that is posted directly to members every month. Founded in 1990, in 20 years Astronomy Ireland has grown to over members in 2010. Our aim is to promote astronomy, space interest and education in Ireland. We achieve this aim by holding talks, lectures, observing sessions and other events nationwide, and through our magazine, Astronomy & Space. The magazine includes, amongst other things, news, letters, book reviews, reader's photo gallery and details on what to see in the sky during the month. Membership also entitles you to concession rate admittance to our public lectures. In addition, members can attend telescope nights on clear Friday and Saturday evenings. You do not need to own a telescope to be a member, everybody is welcome to join. We also run Astronomy Classes for Beginners twice per year in various locations throughout the country. Members are also entitled to a discount on the course fee.

Lead by the Munster Technological University in close collaboration with Technological University Dublin & University of Limerick. Learning Hub Limerick
The Learning Hub works in partnership with parents, education providers, statutory agencies and the wider Limerick community to provide a safe, welcoming and inspiring learning environment where young people can reach their true potential. Last year over visitors came to the Learning Hub to engage in various activities and to use our facilities. We serve over 150 children on average each week with many involved in multiple activities during and after the school day ends. We prioritize children attending local DEIS schools but aim to reserve over 40% of our place for children from other areas of the city attending non DEIS schools also. We have a waiting list for many of our after school programmes and registration happens in early September each year. We are based in Kileely. We are 10 mins walk from the city-centre and have a wonderful view of the Shannon.
