Civil Service College, Mauritius
The Civil Service College, Mauritius (CSCM) has been in operations since November 2015 with the launch of training sessions on Customer Service Excellence and Leadership: Making a Difference. The CSCM is incorporated as a private company with the Government of Mauritius as the sole shareholder. The CSCM is mandated to cater for the growing training and development needs of public officers at all levels, including those from local authorities and parastatal bodies. The Civil Service College, Mauritius is MQA registered training institution accredited to provide training and development programmes to public officers from the Ministries, Local Authorities, Parastatal Bodies and State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). The training programmes are mounted and delivered to meet the needs of staff at all hierarchical levels. Moreover, since start of its operations, the CSCM has developed collaborative partnerships with stakeholders from the public as well as the private sector. The CSCM is governed by a Board of Directors with Mr. S. Seebaluck G.O.S.K as Chairperson and the Director General Prof (Dr) R. Durbarry. The management team of the CSCM constitutes of the Director General, Administrative Manager and Training Coordinators. The operational team constitutes the Programme, Clerical and accounts officers. As at date the CSCM offers over 50 courses of which are 4 sponsored courses; around 50 skilled-based courses and around 8 induction courses.

The Mahatma Gandhi Institute Secondary School (MGISS) is located in the rural area of Moka in Mauritius. The MGISS was founded in 1976 under the parastatal body, the Mahatma Gandhi Institute. The MGISS is one of the 6 secondary schools in the MGI/RTI system. It is funded by the State and managed by the Ministry of Education and the Schooling sector of the MGI/RTI. MGISS is one of the 13 National Schools which enrolls the best students around the island after successful completion of their primary education (equivalent to 6 years of school as from 5 years old) based on their CPE (Certificate of Primary Education) results. With the new educational reform, that is the Nine Year Continuous Basic Education (NYCBE), MGISS has been called to become an Academy. Hence, students will be admitted to the school as from Grade 10 (Form 4), based on merit at the national level as from the year 2021. MGISS will continue its mission for the welfare of its students. The school has maintained a consistently excellent performance throughout the years, both in terms of quality and quantity. It is to be noted that we have maintained a 100% pass for SC and above 95% pass for HSC. MGISS puts a lot of emphasis on holistic education to ensure an overall development of the child.
