The Lid Project Africa
THE LID PROJECT AFRICA. “LID” is an acronym for “Leadership, Impact and Development”. Our mission is to raise leaders with a sense of responsibility, a strong will to sacrifice and a commitment towards the realisation of a better Africa by creating positive impact and development. Our vision is to raise excellent leaders in Africa by creating positive impact and development. Our definition of impact and development: 1. When persons within our leadership hub begin to show the leadership values we preach, which are: service, dedication, and sacrifice; in their personal lives, in the offices they occupy and in their organization. When we are able to give platforms to innovative young minds to sell their ideas. When we have sponsors who will provide scholarships for children from Impoverished homes. Our Long term goals are: 1. The LID Project will become a mentorship hub for leaders in institutions of learning, in religious institutions, and civil organisations. The LID Project shall be a source of support for innovative minds, to see their innovation become a reality. The LID Project shall be a source of support for Impoverished children to gain access to scholarships. The LID PROJECT aims at creating impact and development by helping the less privileged, taking up community projects, supplying educational resources, providing free medical and legal services and reaching out to people with innovative ideas to see how to raise grants for them. We have come to understand that Africa is the hub of innovative ideas but the problem is that we do not have individuals who are willing to help those innovative minds to develop. So, we would be reaching out to sponsors; people who are passionate about impact and development to help with the development of those ideas.
