Write Now Critical Writing Class

Write Now là lớp dạy viết học thuật thực sự duy nhất ở Hà Nội. Write Now không dạy ngôn ngữ học thuật. Write Now dạy học viên của mình cách xác lập những nhận định dựa trên bằng chứng một cách bài bản, trước khi sử dụng ngôn ngữ học thuật để truyền tải thông tin. Học viên của Write Now được hướng dẫn từng bước phân tích và tổng hợp dữ liệu từ 15 đến 20 bài báo khoa học, trước khi rút ra những diễn giải và lập luận được diễn đạt bằng ngôn từ chính xác. Thêm vào đó, Write Now hướng dẫn học viên phản biện chính mình để tìm ra các giả thiết ngầm. Thông qua quá trình đó, kỹ năng phân tích của họ được phát triển, kỹ năng tư duy logic được mài dũa, và kỹ năng tư duy phản biện được hình thành. Điểm độc đáo của lớp học này là các buổi gặp 1 thầy -1 trò hàng tuần, trong đó giảng viên sẽ "cá nhân hóa" việc giảng dạy cho phù hợp với riêng học trò đó. Chúng tôi hiểu rằng mỗi học viên có những quan tâm riêng, và những quan tâm đó cần được xử lý theo cách dành riêng cho học viên đó. Tất cả các học viên đều có phản hồi tích cực về hình thức học này. Đây là bằng chứng cho sự cam kết về chất lượng của Write Now. Write Now phù hợp nhất với những học viên mong muốn phát triển tư duy logic và phản biện để chuẩn bị cho việc học tập ở bậc cao hơn. Currently the only true academic writing class based in Hanoi, we are proud to serve those who aspire to authentic development of academic, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Write Now does not teach academic language. Instead, our classes teach learners to methodically form evidence-based remarks before using academic language to communicate. Our unique selling point is the weekly 1-on-1 meetings, in which the instructor provides a learner with individualized instruction. Industrial University Of Ho Chi Minh City Iuh

Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City was formerly Go Vap Vocational School founded by Don Bosco priests on November 11, 1956 at Hanh Thong commune, Go Vap District, Gia Dinh Province. In 1968, the school was renamed as the Don Bosco Private Junior High School of Technology. Until January 31, 1970 the school was upgraded to be the Don Bosco Private Junior High School of Technology, shortly referred to as the Don Bosco High School of Engineering. After the day of peace and reunification, the Southern Liberation Army took over the school and on December 19, 1975 the School was handed over to the General Department of Metallurgy Engineering and Electronics. In 1978, the School was renamed as the School of Engineering IV belonging to The Ministry of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy. By 1994, the school was merged with the Chemical High School II in Bien Hoa City to become the Industrial Engineering School IV under the management of The Ministry of Industry. In March the school was upgraded to become Industrial College IV and in December 2004 the college was upgraded to become Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City according to the Decision of 214/2004/QD - TTg by the Prime Minister. The university is currently one of the big educational and training institutions in Vietnam.

Introduction: The main goal of this project is to provide students with some knowledge about university’s majors. By means of a website tool platform (KnowHub.vn), we wish to do a good turn for students in their career orientation and help them create an effective study plan. We decided to set up KnowHub because all of us understood students’ anxiety about what they would do and how they could do to make a promotion or even find a suitable job in the future. The project dates back to the end of 2017. Now KnowHub is launching the first version of website, using social media (such as Facebook fanpage or Facebook groups, LinkedIn,…) with a view to promoting our contents and extending networks. We plan to complete website’s ‘forums’ function in 2018.
