ALS Hellenic Maritime Training Center provides at the most competitive prices a comprehensive range of course needed to upgrade knowledge, skills and abilities of the seafarers focused mainly to the compliance of STCW ’78 as amended (including Manila Amendments 2010) and SOLAS, MAROL 73/78 and MLC provisions. Our Training Center is also able and willing to design and provide dedicated and distance learning training to the specifications of customers with the use of teaching aids, equipment and distance learning training to the specifications of customers with the use of teaching aids, equipment and simulators in compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements. The training staff (Instructors, Lecturers, Assessors) of the Center consist of a team of University level professionals including experienced Master Mariners, Marine Engineers and Doctors of Medicine. The Center is carrying the approvals of various Flag State Administrations thus providing approved certification of training and is operating under ISO 9001:2015 approved by BV and accredited by UKAS. Furthermore, ALS Hellenic Maritime Training Center has been authorized by the Administration of the Republic of Honduras to implement specific procedures for the issuance and the renewal of tis Governmental Certifications of Competence (COC) for Masters, Officers, GMDSS radio operators which are also recognized by other main Flag Administrations (e.g. Republic of MARSHALL ISLANDS, Republic of Liberia, etc.)

Joyce 'n' Fun
Joyce ‘n’ Fun is a social cooperative on the island of Skiathos, Greece. Skiathos is a small island full of tourists in the summer but where young people (from 0 to 100 years old) can enjoy calm, nature but also a big range of activities the rest of the time. Joyce ‘n’ Fun was created as a way to give to the children more opportunities to discover the world with our programs and through the eyes of our volunteers. Our main objectives are to help children of all age discover foreign languages and cultures, through workshops, activities and games and help them develop their talents with multiple fields. In that way, we want to modernise education by promoting its non-formal, life-long forms. Joyce ‘n’ Fun’s main project, the Agape’s travelers Hub as a never-ending flow of incoming and outgoing travelers and worldschoolers. Some stay for a couple days, other for a few years but all have something to offer to the ever-changing team. Their story, first of all, but also their talents, special knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm. There are at least 5 members and volunteers at all times in Skiathos but the staff gets richer every day, as we invite and host regularly all kind of travellers willing to share their knowledge and talent with Skiathos’ youth. Our main projects have affected more than 300 children from 6 months old to 14 years old. Those children coming from different backgrounds and ethnicities are living proof that children are naturally loving and accepting of everyone without any hint of racism.

Ξεκινήσαμε με αφετηρία τη γέννηση των παιδιών μας και συναντηθήκαμε ως γονείς στο μοντεσσοριανό σπίτι Αλίμου. Ταξιδέψαμε με τα παιδιά μας στο ρόλο του μοντεσσοριανού γονέα, μαγευτήκαμε, οραματιστήκαμε και συμπράξαμε με το όραμα και το σκοπό της Μαρίας Μοντεσσόρι για μια εκπαίδευση που θα οδηγήσει σε ένα καλύτερο αύριο.Πιο ανθρώπινο, πιο ειρηνικό. Ακολουθήσαμε την πίστη στο παιδί, εκπαιδευτήκαμε και φτάσαμε εδώ, στην δημιουργία του δικού μας μοντεσσοριανού παιδικού σταθμού – νηπιαγωγείου.
