Ecofeminist Platform Of Bangladesh

The Ecofeminist Platform of Bangladesh intends to adopt an eco-feminist perspective for collective actions in Bangladesh pertaining to climate action and the environmental movement since 2020. Ecofeminism emphasizes the interdependence of all living things. Ecofeminism has equal roots in the environment and women's liberation. Ecofeminism strives to analyze and enhance the arguments of both the feminist and environmentalist movements. Hence, the platform will investigate the intersection of gender and nature, especially how binary concepts inaccurately define opposing groupings, attributing excessive importance to one grouping and promoting hierarchical thought. Women should thus have their opinions heard at all levels and actively participate in the formulation of environmental and climate change-related policies, programme and action plans. The platform will strive to create a venue for think tanks to initiate gender-sensitive discussions on climate action and social justice. From a feminist standpoint, we want women to play a prominent part in the revolution of climate justice and social rights, while also stressing the new values that should form the foundation of this future society. This platform seeks to inform the people about the intersection of climate justice and environmental conservation while influencing national and international discussion and discourse to ensure the global narrative of the climate movement. In addition, this platform will contribute into education, research support to the development sector and accelerate the young climate movement and enhance grassroots climate initiatives, especially those of indigenous women, who have been at the forefront of combating climate injustice and safeguarding their rights.

Soul Save Our Unprotected Life

S O U L is a Volunteer Organization that works for the welfare of Wildlife and Stray Animals (cats, dogs etc.) who are in danger or in a distressed situation. Sometimes wild animals (Birds, Mammals, Reptiles and Amphibians) are found injured, homeless or helpless due to different reasons. Sometimes the wild-kids (baby wild animals) are left alone after losing their parents due to Road Accidents, Natural Calamities (Storm, Land-slide etc.) or Human-wildlife Conflicts. Many domestic kittens and puppies are thrown out when they are born by our people as it becomes troublesome to have them all as pet. All these kids need Care and Affection much more than Medical Treatments only. These Distressed Animals need help and care after they are rescued to help them recover and be able to feed for themselves and get ready to be released into the Wild so they can get back to their own habitat in nature. S O U L (Save Our Unprotected Life) rescues these distressed animals and helps them to get back to their home in the Wild again with the help of the Forest Department! Children are the Future of our Universe. S O U L creates awareness among the students of schools and colleges and helps them to learn to save our Mother Nature and Environment in a simple way. Women play an important role in each and every respect of life. S O U L creates awareness among women on how they can help to protect our environment, wildlife and natural habitat. Through their mothers, children will become more conscious about our nature and natural resources from the very beginning and in this way we will be able to save the Forest, Wildlife, Natural Habitat and our environment.
