Моделиране процесите на пренос на замърсители, както и на наносния режим на реките. Национални и международни ангажименти на НИМХ - осигуряване на държавните органи с данни, анализи, експертизи и прогнози за хидро-метеорологичните процеси в България и западната част на Черно море- изготвяне на специализирани прогнози и експертни оценки- поддържане на националния хидро-метеорологичен архив, създаване и поддържане на бази данни- изготвяне на анализи, експертизи, консултации и прогнози за динамиката на замърсяването на въздуха и водите- НИМХ е част от програмата на СМО "Световна служба за времето" чрез Регионалния телекомуникационен център-София, отговарящ за страните от Югоизточна Европа и Близкия Изток.

Ecopack Bulgaria

Екопак България е най-голямата организация за оползотворяване на отпадъци от опаковки в България с 42,11% пазарен дял, без право да разпределя печалба. В организацията членуват над 1150 български и мултинационални компании. Екопак България създава и управлява системите за разделно събиране на отпадъци от опаковки. Към момента работи в 88 общини с население от 2’543 жит. и разположени 17,568 бр. контейнери. Основната дейност на компанията е управлението на процесите по събиране, сортиране и рециклиране на отпадъци от опаковки и постигане на задължителните цели по рециклиране и оползотворяване, заложени в Закона за управление на отпадъците. Екопак България е изградила 16 сепариращи инсталации, които осигуряват над 250 работни места. Общият капацитет на сортиращите мощности възлиза на 320 хил. тона в зависимост от сменното натоварване. Събраните отпадъци от опаковки се предават на преработвателите на стъкло, пластмаси, метали, дърво, хартия и картони, като изцяло се осигурява влагането им в производството на опаковки и опаковъчни материали. За изпълнение на целите за рециклиране и оползотворяване компанията има сключени договори с 23 рециклиращи фирми. Екопак България е единствената организация, която използва система от три цветни контейнера: син - за хартия и картон, жълт - за пластмасови и метални опаковки, и зелен - за стъкло. Ние сме единственият представител за България в Европейската организация по оползотворяване на отпадъци от опаковки - PRO EUROPE и притежава изключителното право да ползва и предоставя правото на производители и вносители на опаковани стоки у нас да поставят върху опаковките си търговската марка “DER GRÜNE PUNKT” („зелена точка”).
