Elle est aujourd’hui la seule institution apolitique en Suisse à promouvoir et à œuvrer pour la reconnexion Homme – Nature. NOTRE CONSTAT On observe depuis plusieurs décennies des modifications majeures sur toute la planète, liées entre autres au réchauffement climatique. Depuis plus de 30ans, on alerte, on sensibilise, on manifeste. Force est de constater que jusqu’à présent, peu d’actions concrètes ont abouti car la plupart des discours actuels se concentrent sur ce que l’humain fait à la nature. Nous avons choisi un autre angle de vue : nous nous intéressons à ce que la nature fait à l’humain et au lien qui les unit. We are a Swiss not-for-profit Foundation which connects companies and consumers to conservation projects in tropical forest landscapes. The FCF identifies local conservation partners where forests are being lost to cocoa, coffee, palm oil, coconut, soy, and rubber plantations, and links them to financial support from brands and individuals buying commodities there, to ensure that the forests remain standing. Launched in June 2020, FCF works with local community organizations, nonprofits and private landholders in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Brazil, Malaysia, and Peru to protect over hectares of rainforest.
