Tuottajayhteisöt varmistavat, että laitteiden sisältämät materiaalit menevät uudelleenkäyttöön tai kierrätykseen, josta ne päätyvät teollisuuden raaka-aineiksi. Kierrättämällä laitteet oikein säästetään neitseellisiä luonnonvaroja, estetään ympäristön pilaantumista ja hidastetaan ilmastonmuutosta. Producer communities ensure that the materials contained in the equipment are reused or recycled and end up as raw materials for industry.
