CARE4CLIMATE je integralni projekt v okviru programa za okolje Evropske komisije (LIFE), v katerem sodeluje 15 partnerjev. Osrednji cilj projekta je prispevati k uresničevanju ukrepov zmanjševanja toplogrednih plinov, ki v veliki meri povzročajo podnebne spremembe. Osredotoča se na ukrepe krepitve zmogljivosti in ozaveščanja ciljnih javnosti in deležnikov, kjer ima Slovenija največje težave pri izvajanju sprejetih ukrepov.

Eco Fund, Slovenian Environmental Public Fund, is a specialized legal public entity that promotes environmental protection in the Republic of Slovenia. Our main task is to provide financial incentives for environmental investments as well as to finance and coordinate different environmental awareness-raising and educational activities, including the Energy Advisory Network (ENSVET). Financial incentives include grants (non-repayable subsidies) and soft loans with favourable interest rates and are disbursed on the basis of public calls and tenders. Incentives are available to citizens (households), legal entities and municipalities for investments in the field of efficient use of energy, use of renewable energy sources, air pollution reduction, environmentally sound technologies and products, waste management, waste water treatment and sustainable mobility. Energy Advisory Network (ENSVET) provides free of charge and individual advice to households and helps potential investors to select, plan and carry out energy efficiency and renewable energy investments in residential buildings. This network includes more than 70 independent qualified advisors who operate in 50 different local offices across Slovenia.

We are two brothers from Slovenia who have been living around wood for our whole lives and have owned a carpentry workshop for more than 50 years. We have witnessed positive effects, but also negative consequences of the wood industry on our environment. Did you know that one and a half acres of forest is cut down every second? We decided to act. What did we do? Last year we became a CO2 neutral company, which means that we plant more trees than we use in our production, including compensation for electricity usage and greenhouse gas emissions from our vehicles. Zadruga KonopKo je prva zadruga za razvoj trajnostne pridelave in predelave industrijske konoplje v Sloveniji - industrializacija konoplje in generiranje s tem povezanih lokalnih delovnih mest je področje, ki nas zanima in v katerem smo prepoznali izjemen potencial. Osnovne naloge zadruge so osveščanje javnosti o uporabnosti konoplje, povezovanje in organiziranje pridelovalcev konoplje v Sloveniji, vključno z rednim odkupom pridelka, pri čemer smo razvili tudi vse potrebne postopke spremljanja kmetovalca, preverjanja kakovosti in določili ostale odkupne pogoje ter vzpostavili lastno proizvodnjo. Aktivno sodelujemo tudi pri zakonskih spremembah na področju industrijske konoplje.
