Today, the RotoSTERIL technology already meets all the European standards and enables reaching the waste management goals set for 2025, 2030, and 2035. Our technology is based on steam autoclaves that sterilize the incoming waste followed by a fully automated sorting system. The method is based on a uniquely effective autoclaving process during which the non-sorted (mixed) or sorted municipal waste is sterilized in steam autoclaves, which stops all biological life in waste and makes it odorless. The process stops CO2, CH4, and other GHGs emissions. Autoclaved waste is also dry and can be easily segregated with greater effectiveness than any other known technology. This allows for maximization of the sorting result of the clean secondary raw materials: metals, plastics, glass, mineral fractions, etc. with astonishing success rates. Residual combustible waste components are sorted into pre-RDF fractions. Thanks to the autoclaving process conducted with the own-design software we are able to separate the organic fraction from the municipal waste in the highest quality. It comes out of the process in the form of biomass, which can have several uses: as a hygroscopic soil improver, fertilizer, or alternative as a local, renewable source of energy, or as a product to further treat & process in the production of building materials, alternative packaging, biogas, hydrogen, etc.

BHF Environmental Ltd is a Geophysical Consultancy whose primary function is to undertake electrical leak location surveys (ELLS) to locate perforating damage to geomembranes. Information on our services can be found at The geoelectrical leak detection survey is the most practical method of testing of plastic geomembranes for any perforating damage after the geomembranes are installed on site. The method provides a cost effective tool to Construction Quality Assurance, helps to protect the environment as well as to save money. A typical application of the method is the testing of soil-covered geomembranes (landfill liners), however, it is also suitable for other geomembrane applications such as lagoons, reservoirs, canals, etc. Established in 1994, BHF Environmental Ltd is one of the very few companies worldwide having extensive experience of both walkover leak location surveys and built-in monitoring systems. Based on years of experience with an international team on the purification of wastewater, the company Aquatec VFL s. r. o, located in Dubnica, was established with the intention of bringing an innovative and unique residential wastewater treatment plant model, which represents the key point of its manufacturing programme. The programme offers a complete range of residential, pre-assembled and compact reinforced concrete treatment plants up to PE. The philosophy of the company is to bring to European and global markets a specific type of a purification plant, that meets the most stringent criteria in terms of European technology with respect to the required quality of discharged water, materials, static resistance, ease of maintenance of the wastewater treatment plants and, last but not least, affordability. Vertical Flow Labyrinth – VFL - Aquatec VFL uses a well-established system of the biological wastewater purification with integrated accumulation of abruptly inflowing water. The technology is also known under the international brand of Vertical Flow Labyrinth – VFL®. The technology is patented and the brand name has been copyrighted. The technology used in the purification process ensures a high quality of treated water along with low investment and operating costs. SOSNA is a non-governmental environmental organization, founded in 1992, based and operating mainly in eastern Slovakia, yet participating in number of international projects and gaining international recognition as well. KOSIT was established in 2001.
