The Regenerative Production Landscape Collaborative (RPLC)- Kijani Hai - is an innovative landscape partnership in Singida and Simiyu Regions in Tanzania to foster agricultural ecosystems that are owned by a local collective of stakeholders and that aims to- conserve and enhance natural resources- build community resilience, and - enable businesses to source responsibly. Producers and smallholder farmers grow agri-commodities using natural and regenerative farming principles that restore natural resources and reduce emissions from farming systems. Local communities thrive through improved economic stability, enhanced livelihoods and greater participation in government decision-making related to sustainable land management. Businesses at all levels of the supply chain can source responsibly while mitigating the risks for their supply chain and creating inclusive supply chain relationships. The Collaborative is a locally-driven, multi-stakeholder governance structure aimed to drive market transformation. It brings together government institutions that enable sustainable and green growth, companies that commit to sourcing responsibly, community and producer organizations for more inclusive decision-making; and impact investors and funders who seek scalable solutions that deliver on Sustainable Development Goals.
