innsbruck nature film festival is THE film festival with focus on nature and the environment in Austria. In 2025, the 24th edition of inff will take place from 8th-12th october. The inff hosts an international film competition and is an important cultural event in the Tyrol and the city of Innsbruck. In addition to the high-quality cinematic art aspect, it simultaneously raises important aspects on the topics of nature, ecology and sustainability to an international stage. As an environmental film festival in the middle of the Alps, the inff pays special attention to European networking and values in the sense of the European Green Deal. It sees itself as a European platform for the exchange of filmmakers, production companies and broadcasters from all over the world. In the spirit of multilateral cultural exchange, the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival cooperates with IUCN CEC (Commission on Education and Communication), the Alpine Convention and the Green Film Network.
