The Plant Cph
Once an abandoned factory, now a state of the art event venue. In the winter of 2017 we found something unique with a great potential. An old factory stood tall in the hidden heart of Copenhagen. We were immediately drawn into its’ enchanting atmosphere. The high ceilings, the floating plateaus of the main tower, and the volume of the old storage hall, all telling a story of the factory’s once vibrant and dynamic life. Although years of abandonment had sentenced the once vivid factory to a prison in layers of dust, we immediately saw how its’ raw industrial interior hosted the framework for a multitude of rare possibilities. We imagined how the square meters of the old storage hall could set the scene for unique experiences, how the floating plateaus of the main tower could frame magical and intoxicating atmospheres in its’ nexus of raw features and industrial mysticism, and how the high ceilings of the factory could host a variety of universes. We saw how a once abandoned factory could become a state of the art event venue. A complete transformation of each of the factory’s three levels was commenced. The dust was cleared, and just as we thought, it was indeed a scene ideal for the creation of unique universes and experiences. The Plant now hosts a modern event venue, reconditioned with organic details rooted in Scandinavian functionalism to create a balanced contrast to the original industrial vibe of the factory. The Plant offers its’ guest various custom-designed features and functions on each of the three levels, meaning that the imagination is the only limit to the venue’s endless possibilities.

Flying Superkids
Hvem er Flying Superkids? Flying Superkids er først og fremmest kendt for de energiske og livsglæde drenge og piger i alderen 7-21 år, som mestrer gymnastik og akrobatik, og formår at levere begge dele i flot tilrettelagte shows. Flying Superkids har rødder helt tilbage til 1967, hvor Uwe Godbersen dannede en lille og lokal gymnastikgruppe, der siden skulle vokse sig stor med mere end 400 medlemmer. Flying Superkids er heller ikke længere et lokalt fænomen, men har leveret show på den internationale scene i årevis. I dag er gruppen med de talentfulde ’superbørn’ fortsat et internationalt gymnastikfænomen, som hver år fornyer sig og forbløffer publikum med hæsblæsende akrobatik, sang, dans og gymnastik. Flying Superkids værdier: Det er lyst, talent og masser af gå-på-mod, der kendetegner de dygtige drenge og piger, som udgør Superkids. Vi insisterer på, at det at være Superkid er en livsstil. Derfor lægger vi vægt på en sund livsstil og vi har klare regler, som siger ingen rygning og ingen alkohol. Alle børn, der er en del af Flying Superkids, går i helt normale folkeskoler, privatskoler og på gymnasier. Takket være det gode danske uddannelsessystem, er det muligt at forene en normal skolegang med livet som Superkid, så de unge talenter oplever frihed til at rejse ud og optræde. Er der tale om lange udlandsrejser, har vi naturligvis egen lærer med, der sørger for god lektielæsning. Alle ”superbørnene” er dygtige til at passe på hinanden, og særligt de ældre ”Superkids” er gode til at tage sig af deres yngre medrejsende. Derfor ser vi ofte helt særlige venskaber blomstre, ligesom hele gymnastikholdet oplever en familiær ånd i gruppen.
