Plant Factory Group
Plant Factory is, ‘A revolution in living green’. Our unique indoor vertical farming technologies are changing how people buy and store fresh vegetables. Without the use of chemical herbicides or pesticides, or reliance on long supply chains, retailers, food service businesses and private homes can all enjoy a consistent supply of high quality ‘living vegetables’, grown and picked fresh on site. Plant Factory is also a supplier of living vegetables to urban communities, lowering carbon emissions inherent in the long-distance transport of produce, substantially decreasing water consumption, and reducing the land required to grow crops compared with traditional large-scale farms. Our systems reduce food waste and packaging waste, use less energy than traditional farming, and provide an easier, more convenient means to access fresh herbs and vegetables. Our successful commercial technology has been adapted into compact, automated systems for homes, food service companies, or retail spaces. Quick and easy to set up, our growing platform can supply home and commercial kitchens with herbs, leafy greens, and micro-greens on a regular, ongoing basis. Simply use the Plant Factory app to control your growing environment, while you engage with and share feedback with other growers. We offer subscriptions to our hydroponic products, empowering growers to create and maintain their own kitchen gardens in restaurant, cafe, or home settings. The controlled environment of an indoor vertical farm offers numerous benefits including mitigation of environmental impacts such as extreme weather or pests, with minimal variation in quality or quantity of the harvested product. We see hydroponics becoming the primary growth medium for fresh herbs and leafy vegetables in the future. Plant Factory is the convenient, cost-effective and revolutionary solution for people desiring high-quality, chemical-free, fresh produce that’s kinder on the environment as a living statement of their values.

Prime Stockfeed
Humble beginnings The story began in 1988 with a chicken farm in country Victoria. Struggling to find a supplier to provide a consistent product, the family decided to produce their own feed. In 1996 Prime Stockfeed was established and the family began producing and supplying Victorian livestock farmers with consistent, properly formulated feed. A growing family Following this philosophy of well formulated, dependable feeds, Prime Stockfeed grew rapidly as other farmers experienced the benefits. A manufacturing facility was built in 1997. Today, we have grown from humble beginnings to now have over 20 years of experience operating in the agricultural industry with vested interests from grain farming through to beef and egg production. Family pride At Prime, we take enormous pride in our strong family roots, just as we respect each and every one of our customers as a part of the greater Prime family. We proudly provide high quality, good value feed that we’ve developed using our own livestock and nutritional knowledge and state of the art manufacturing techniques.

Qponics Limited
Qponics Limited (Qponics) is an agri-business company focused on the near-urban production of high-quality algal oil rich in EPA omega-3 and palmitoleic omega-7 fatty acids, and its by-product rich in protein, from cultivated algae. The Qponics marine microalgae farming process uses ultrafiltered brackish tidal river water and is not dependent on freshwater to operate. Therefore, the operation is a droughtproof form of agriculture in a world facing a future of worsening droughts and water shortages. Dietary deficiencies caused by our modern industrialised lifestyle are known to cause a number of diseases and abnormalities. In recent years deficiency in long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids known as omega-3s present in fish and algae has been associated with a wide and increasing variety of diseases, readily preventable or treatable through the use of food supplements. The major source of dietary omega-3 oil is presently fish and fish oil. Demand for high quality fish oil is increasing, however supply is unsustainable due to the decline in annual wild-catch fish production and the potential for depletion of natural fish resources within forty years. In recent years production of omega-3 oils from algae has emerged as a sustainable and safe source of vegetarian-acceptable omega-3 oils. The by-product of oil production is anticipated to be sold as an alternative protein food ingredient to food manufacturers, given the recent global interest in meat-like, pork-like, chicken-like and fish-like food products using plant-based proteins. Marine microalgae cultivation does not require freshwater and sustainably produces about 30 times more protein per hectare than broadacre crops such as soybeans and chickpeas.

The TFGA is an active, powerful lobby group owned and governed by farmers, for farmers. With a strong record of successful political advocacy and leadership, the TFGA has generated substantial benefits for the agriculture sector since its formation in 1948. Even though farming has its own natural challenges from droughts, bushfires and floods, it is also under constant threat from regulation, legislation and special interest groups. These attacks will not go away by themselves. The only way to effectively counter them is to stand together with a strong, united voice. The TFGA consists of five Commodity Groups - Dairy, Meat, Wool, Agriculture and Vegetable - as well as four Committee groups – Cereal & Seeds, Poppies, Environmental Policy, Climate Change, Game Management, Native Vegetation, Water, Weeds and Forestry. TFGA members lead each of these groups and, with the support of staff, provide the power to effectively influence all levels of government on the wide range of issues that impact on modern farming.
