The Australian Worm Firm
The Australian Worm Firm is an Adelaide startup that farms and retails compost worms and worm products to the general public. Our vision is to promote worm farming as a viable, cost-effective and time-efficient option for local businesses, backyards and courtyards across the suburbs and beyond. We would like to see worm farming go mainstream. Worm farming (vermiculture) is the art of breeding and growing compost worms that convert household and commercial food and green organics (FOGO) into powerful natural soil improvers. Compost worms are a few specialized species of worms that are able to eat decaying vegetable matter, rather than soil. This greatly speeds up the composting process while diverting compost from landfill or the green waste bin. The Australian Worm Firm exists to assist customers in making the transition to worm farming as seamless as possible by providing them the supplies, resources and confidence to take on and effectively manage their own worm farm. We treat all our customers and suppliers with respect, honesty and kindness. We put the customer first every time. We manufacture and retail quality products that we and our customers can trust. We seek to use, make and retail Australian products from Australian owned businesses wherever possible. We look after the environment by applying the principles of good stewardship, recycling and resourcefulness in everything we do. If you would like to know more, please message us directly or contact us via- Website: https://australianwormfirm.square.site Email: peter.theaustralianwormfirm@gmail.com Phone: 0480 162 825.

Yanda Station - Kalahari Red Goats X Rangeland Goats
What does Yanda Mean? In South Africa where the Kalahari Goats originate the name Yanda means “Expand, Grow, Prosper”. It is also of Xhosa origin which means “Growth, Increase, Expansion”. Cobar is where the tough goats come from, born and bred in the wild in very tough conditions year after year. Only the strongest and toughest nannies that have survived the wild are used in our breeding programme. We also breed Sheepmaster sheep and have purebred ewes for sale. Purchasing 1st cross nannies keeps a bit of the mongrel survivability genes in their blood, protecting their young from aerial and ground dwelling predators & good milking genes which have come through after years of survival of the fittest in the outback Cobar region Yanda goats use these selected tough rangeland nannies to cross with Stud Kalahari Bucks Using 1st cross Kalahari Billie's or nannies keeps a bit of mongrel in the system for that wild survivability genes, plus easily adds another $50.00 when selling Purebred Kalahari Goats have excellent mothering abilities. In South Africa & Australia natural selection is made strongly in favour of these attributes because offspring that are properly cared for by their mothers will do likewise for their own progeny. Through the years of native selection processes, only the fittest Kalahari Goats mothers have survived. Purebred Kalahari Goat does are fertile and produce plenty of milk, & as a result, the offspring grow fast and outpace others. Newborn offspring are strong and have a strong urge to suck. They breed all year round & will drop three times every two years. Kalahari Goats can be used to give Australian rangeland goats a uniform, solid red colour, Their earthy colour provides a great camouflage that hides them from predators on the lookout for a feed. White kids would be seen easily by foxes, wild dogs, feral pigs and eagles. Kalahari Goats are fully pigmented, and therefore able to endure heat
