Tasmanian Berries operates over three sites, two of which are in central northern Tasmania and one is located in the Bundaberg region in Queensland (operating as Sunshine Berries). The business produces strawberries, raspberries and blackberries grown under multi-bay polytunnels and in state of the art hothouses. Nearly all of our plants are grown hydroponically, in individual bags of coir (coconut peat). The plants are fed through a highly technical irrigation system, which provides the plants with the specific nutrients each variety requires for maximum yield and quality. Our strawberries are grown on table tops, so that they are able to be picked at eye level.
