Tulips Of The Valley- Chilliwack Tulip Festival

Tulips of the Valley will be opening our 12th annual tulip festival this coming April in Chilliwack BC. Our first 10 years our festival was held on Seabird Island in Agassiz, BC and last year we opened in our new location in Chilliwack. We have over 7 million tulips in our 20 acres. New this year will be a couple of special treats. Check out our website for more information. Walk around our fields while enjoying a fresh baked Dutch Stroopwaffle our indulge at one of our food trucks. There will be a craft tent on site and the Chilliwack Fraser Rotary train on weekends.

West Haven Nursery is located near Spruce View just 30 minutes west of Red Deer, Alberta. Our tree farm and nursery supplies acreage & home owners, landscapers, builders, businesses, municipalities, and oil & gas companies with quality caliper basketed trees for landscaping and shelterbelts. We can also provide native trees and shrubs in pots or as plugs for naturescaping, xeriscaping and reclamation. West Haven Nursery is a custom contract grower and can propagate seedlings and potted material for all of your project needs. We also can supply native perennial plants. All of our trees and shrubs are hardy to survive Alberta's extreme weather conditions (Zone 2 & 3). Our Main Service Area Includes Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Rocky Mountain House, Lacombe, Blackfalds, Penhold, Innisfail, Olds, Sundre, Caroline And Spruce View. We have been a member of Landscape Alberta Nursery Trades Association and the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association since 2001 and strive to meet or exceed industry standards. All plant materials are tended to daily through the growing season with regular fertilizing, weed and pest control, pruning and watering. We use an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach with first-line organic control measures and limited chemical use. Our wholesale customers are welcome to come and select trees that meet their needs. We deliver locally and can assist our customers with coordinating third party transport for longer hauls. Our focus is on our nursery and so generally we will not be able to help with planting but we will provide a list of contractors who can deliver and professionally install your trees.
